The Bakers Lane area will have small shops, services and residential development. The Lane will provide one of the key routes into the Moat Lane area and will form a direct link from Watling Street to Bury Mount. The shops will spill out onto the pavement and public areas surrounding Bury Mount, creating an attractive and lively space.
The Moat Lane Masterplan is being updated and a revised application for the development will be submitted in Autumn 2012.
